Morganelli Method OS
Morganelli Method OS is the practice-management software used by Ivy League Admissions LLC and the counselors who work with us. It is the working environment for the Morganelli Method — the college-admissions approach developed by John Morganelli, former Director of Admissions at Cornell University.
The Method is a defined way of guiding a student through high school and into an application: a grade-by-grade roadmap, a sequence for developing the student's core narrative, and frameworks for essays, activities, research questions, supplemental writing, and interview preparation. The software carries those tools and keeps each student's plan, materials, meetings, and correspondence in one place, so the counselor can work the Method rather than manage paperwork. The counseling itself — the judgment, the writing, the advice to a family — remains the counselor's own work.
Access is limited to counselors and staff who have been invited to an account. It is not a consumer product and there is no public sign-up.
Why the app connects to your Google account
The Method depends on steady contact with students and families, and most of that contact happens over email. When a counselor chooses to connect their Google account, Morganelli Method OS reads that counselor's own Gmail so that:
- Each family's correspondence is gathered onto a single timeline and filed against the right student, instead of being scattered across an inbox.
- The counselor can see which families are still waiting on a reply, so nothing is missed during application season.
- Meeting notes, follow-ups, and documents that families send are saved to the right student record.
- The counselor can write and send replies from the same place they keep the student's plan, rather than working across separate tools.
What the app does not do
- It accesses only the mailbox of the counselor who signs in. It does not access student or parent mailboxes.
- It does not write and send correspondence to families on its own. A counselor composes, reviews, and sends the messages that go to a family.
- It does not sell, rent, or share mailbox contents with anyone, and does not use Google user data to train generalized artificial-intelligence models.
- Google user data is used only to provide these features to the counselor whose account it is.
The software does send routine service email from our own practice account: sign-in links and invitations for the family portal, and scheduled summaries addressed to the counselor. These are the only messages the software sends without a person writing them.
Who uses it
Counselors and staff at Ivy League Admissions LLC and partner counseling practices working with us. Families we work with may also be given access to a private portal where they can see their own student's roadmap and materials; families sign in with a link sent to their email and do not connect a Google account.
Data handling and your choices
A counselor can disconnect their Google account at any time from within the app, and may also revoke access directly from their Google account permissions page. Our full data practices are described in our Privacy Policy, and the terms that govern use of the software are in our Terms of Service.
